About the Role

This role is for experienced legal intake professionals who are ready to operate at a higher level. You have done this before. You know how to screen cases, handle objections, schedule consultations, and close retainers. You are not learning the basics — you are applying expertise in a high-volume, high-performance environment.

You will handle a large volume of outbound calls — approximately 150–200 per day — working cases with speed, care, and urgency. You will screen using firm-specific criteria, guide prospects through the intake process, and take conversations all the way through to signed retainers and contracts. This is not a pass-off role. You own the outcome.

You will be the voice of a law firm at one of the most difficult moments in a client’s life. The ability to hold both empathy and urgency at once — to make someone feel heard while also moving them forward — is the skill that defines success here.

The income potential is real. Strong performers consistently earn $60,000–$90,000+ annually. But this is not a closing-for-commission role. The money follows the mission. People who lead with genuine care and channel it into consistent performance are the ones who earn the most.

Why This Role Stands Out

Most legal intake roles cap your earnings, limit your autonomy, or put you in a rigid script. This one is different.

  • Base pay of $17–$25/hour — higher than most intake roles — based on your experience level

  • Uncapped performance bonuses paid twice a month — strong performers earn $1,500–$4,000+ per month in bonuses

  • Top performers consistently exceed $80,000 in total annual compensation

  • Direct coaching and feedback from founders and C-level executives with decades of intake and call center experience

  • A fast-moving, high-appreciation culture where performance is recognized and rewarded

  • A company that takes training seriously — you will not be thrown in without structure or support

This is a role for people who want to be excellent at what they do — and be compensated for it.

Ramp-Up & Earnings Timeline

Because this role requires prior legal intake experience, the ramp-up is faster than entry-level positions. Here is what to expect:

  • First 14 days: Structured onboarding on company systems, client-specific criteria, scripting, and CRM. You are learning how we do it here, not how to do intake.

  • Days 15–30: You move into full production with active coaching. Performance benchmarks begin.

  • 30–60 days: Most experienced specialists reach full performance capacity and begin hitting strong bonus levels consistently.

The individuals who commit to learning companies approach — even when they have years of experience elsewhere — are the ones who ramp up fastest and earn the most.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle 150–200 outbound calls per day with speed, consistency, and care

  • Follow up on leads via phone, text, and email — within the first minute of receipt where possible

  • Respond to inbound callbacks from outbound attempts with calm and precision

  • Screen cases — especially Personal Injury and Family Law — using firm-specific criteria to determine pass or take

  • Schedule attorney consultations and guide prospects through next steps with urgency

  • Sign retainers and contracts independently — you close the case, not just open it

  • Follow up persistently via call, text, and email until contact is made or the case is resolved

  • Log all interactions accurately and completely in the CRM — every entry matters

  • Meet and exceed performance quotas consistently — daily, weekly, and monthly

  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews — and apply the feedback

  • Contribute ideas to improve operations, processes, and outcomes when you see the opportunity

Who This Role Is For

Our best performers share one combination: they move fast and they care deeply. Neither half works without the other.

You will succeed here if you:

  • Have genuine experience with legal intake — you know the language, the process, and the emotional weight of these calls

  • Can handle 150–200 dials per day without losing warmth, clarity, or accuracy

  • Take full ownership of your cases from first contact through signed retainer

  • Are motivated by results — and understand that results come from genuine connection, not aggressive closing

  • Thrive in structured, fast-moving environments where performance expectations are clear and real

  • Are coachable — even with years of experience, you remain open to feedback and committed to improvement

  • Want to grow — in skill, in responsibility, and in income

This is not the right fit if you are looking for a low-pressure remote role, if you are primarily motivated by commission, or if you are not willing to work at high volume with consistent urgency.

Requirements — Non-Negotiable

  • 2+ years of legal intake experience — ideally Personal Injury in a high-volume firm (15–20+ inbound or 100+ outbound calls per day)

  • U.S.-based (required) — 18 years of age or older

  • Professional-level English fluency (spoken and written) — assessed live during screening

  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM — tested

  • Reliable high-speed internet (minimum 100 Mbps) with a backup connection strongly preferred

  • Quiet, dedicated, distraction-free workspace

  • Not a primary caregiver during scheduled work hours

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment where things change frequently

  • Weekend availability required — the center operates 7 days a week

  • Tech-savvy and a fast learner — you will be operating multiple systems simultaneously

  • Able to multitask without losing accuracy, tone, or attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with intake or call center software, CRM platforms, or reporting tools

  • Background in process improvement or scaling intake operations

  • Contract or retainer signing experience in a law firm context

  • Intake department management or team lead experience

  • Startup experience — you have built or helped build something from the ground up

  • Spanish as a second language

Final Note

We are not filling seats. We are building a team of high-performing individuals who want to be genuinely excellent at this work — and who understand the weight of what they are doing.

Every call you take is someone at a turning point. A car accident. A custody battle. A moment where the right voice on the other end can change what happens next. The people who carry that with them perform differently than those who don’t.

If you bring the experience, the coachability, and the drive — we will give you the structure, the support, and the compensation to build something meaningful here. Apply if you are ready to do this work at the highest level.

We look forward to meeting you.
