Welcome to Lupa

These terms apply to anyone who submits their information to Lupa, whether through the Lupa Talent Network or in response to a specific job posting. By submitting your information, you agree to the following terms regarding your participation in our recruitment process. Please read them carefully before applying.

1. Purpose

Lupa connects professionals in Latin America with remote opportunities at global companies. By applying, you are requesting to be considered for potential job opportunities and to participate in our evaluation and preparation process.

Submitting your information does not guarantee job placement.

2. Information We Collect

When you apply, we may collect and process the following:

  • Contact information (name, email, phone, location)
  • Professional information (CV, LinkedIn, work history, portfolio)
  • Salary expectations and availability
  • Video interview recordings
  • Assessment results and evaluation feedback
  • References (if voluntarily provided)

This information is used strictly for recruitment, evaluation, and career support purposes.

3. Use of AI and Automated Tools

Lupa uses AI tools to support — not replace — our recruiters throughout the hiring process. Here is exactly how AI is and is not used when you apply for a role through us.

How we use AI

  • To verify basic eligibility criteria, such as location, time zone compatibility, and role-specific requirements stated in the job description
  • To help recruiters organize and review candidate information more efficiently
  • To assist in structuring interview notes and internal documentation
  • To analyze resumes and professional information for role alignment
  • To generate structured feedback for internal use

How we do NOT use AI

  • AI does not make any hiring decision, at any stage of the process
  • AI is not used to filter or exclude candidates based on age, gender, nationality, ethnicity, or any other protected characteristic
  • AI does not assess cultural fit, personality, or subjective qualities — those evaluations are made exclusively by our recruiting team

Who evaluates you

Every candidate who advances in a Lupa process is reviewed and assessed by a human recruiter. The recruiter owns the screening, the interview, and the recommendation to the client. You may request human review of your evaluation at any time by contacting talent@lupahire.com

4. How We Use Your Information

Your data may be used to:

  • Evaluate your fit for roles
  • Improve your professional positioning
  • Match you with relevant client opportunities
  • Provide coaching or feedback
  • Communicate with you about roles and updates

If a strong match is identified, your profile may be shared with a client company for consideration. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data Storage & Retention

Your information may be stored securely in our CRM and associated systems. We retain your data while you remain active in our process or until you request deletion. If there is no engagement for an extended period, your profile may be archived.

6. International Data Processing

Because we work with global companies, your information may be processed or accessed internationally. We take reasonable steps to ensure secure and responsible handling of your data across all jurisdictions in which we operate.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to:

  • Access your stored data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for processing

8. Participation Expectations

By applying, you confirm that:

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. The latest version will always be available on our platform. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
