AI Product Manager
The Company
Quqo is the AI operating system for healthcare. We transform how clinics and individual practitioners operate by integrating all the systems needed to run a clinic into a single AI-powered solution, providing full visibility, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
We deliver this as AI as a service: a continuously updated layer of intelligence and connection, not a static tool a client buys once and maintains. Procurement is our entry point, not our destination. The destination is the operating system for healthcare networks.
● Our mission: Transform how clinics procure, operate, engage with patients, and make decisions, so that healthcare networks run better on a single connected system.
● Our niche: Simplified healthcare operations and services through technology.
The product is evolving at a pace most companies don't move in years.
Our purpose: Build a global, diverse tech company that provides the capabilities and systems needed to efficiently run any health practice.
Grow every day. We are curious, coachable, and always building. Ourselves, our product, and our company.
Principles:
- We embrace new tools and methods, especially when they challenge how we worked before
- We ask for feedback and act on it, every time
- We invest in learning as part of the job, not as a reward
Play as one. We are a team before we are individuals. A great assist is worth as much as the goal.
Principles:
- We make decisions for the good of the organization, not personal gain
- We share credit, flag blockers early, and cover for each other
- We hold ourselves accountable to the team's results, not just our own tasks
- We hire and include people from different backgrounds because diverse teams make better products and better decisions
- We make sure every voice in the room is heard, especially across the distance and culture gaps of a team spread over several countries
Raise the bar. We hold ourselves to a high standard in everything we ship, say, and send.
- We re-read before we send. Every word should earn its place.
- We treat every first impression as if it cannot be undone, because it cannot
- We represent the company, not just ourselves. "We" over "I."
Solve, don't dwell. When there is a problem, we move toward it. We get the facts, decide fast, and follow through.
- We state problems clearly and propose solutions in the same breath
- We bias toward action. A good decision made fast beats a perfect decision made late
- We follow through. Decisions without owners and deadlines are just conversation
Stay transparent. We say what we think, hear what others say, and commit once a decision is made.
- We give direct feedback, even when it is uncomfortable
- We disagree openly in the room and commit fully once a decision is made
- We communicate with clarity and without hidden agendas
Why This Role Exists
The team currently needs someone to own the product development workflow, growing the product, and running the day-to-day of the product squad so the company can operate at a higher level.
What You Will Own
● Lead the product development squad responsible for growing all live product layers
● Write specs in MD file format structured for AI models, not humans — using Quqo's SDD-based workflow
● Manage the full product backlog using Quqo's established agent-assisted framework
● Own the feedback loop between enterprise clients and engineering — including custom development scoping and pricing conversations
● Evaluate AI model outputs in production — designing eval cases, identifying failure patterns, iterating on prompts and pipelines
● Work directly with the technical lead of each squad to define architecture contracts and delivery expectations
● Maintain agile-style ceremonies with the engineering team: requirement reviews, definition of done, QA follow-through
● Hand off production-ready features to the Operations/Implementation team with full documentation
The Product You Will Work On
Five integrated layers, all AI-native:
● System of Commerce — Procurement and asset management for clinic networks
● System of Record — PMS: patient history, imaging, appointments, clinical workflows
● System of Engagement — WhatsApp, SMS, booking, payments, patient communication bot
● System of Intelligence — Quqo IQ: natural language analytics layer for clinic operators and C-levels
● Data Layer — Structured data lake built for continuous AI consumption
Who You Are
You are not a project manager. You are a product thinker who has grown into AI and understands why things are built, not just how to track them. You have strong opinions about what goes into a backlog and why. You can sit in a room with a dental clinic COO and an engineer on the same day and communicate differently with both.
You already use AI agents in your daily work — not as a curiosity, but as the way you actually operate. You understand what a RAG pipeline is, what model evaluation means, and why writing a spec for an AI model is fundamentally different from writing a user story for a human developer.
You work with high autonomy. You need to find your own rhythm and keep the product moving without constant direction.
Must Haves
● Has shipped AI-powered product features in production — not POCs, not internal tools
● Understands model evaluation: can design eval cases, read failure patterns, and iterate on AI behavior
● Writes specs independently and rigorously — structured for model consumption, not human interpretation
● Familiar with agentic workflows — uses AI agents to work faster, not just chatbots to answer questions
● Strong written and spoken English — client-facing with European enterprise accounts
● High autonomy — does not need daily guidance to operate at full speed
● Based in Latin America — Colombia, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, or Chile
Non-Negotiables
🚫 Project managers whose primary skill is tracking and execution without strategic product thinking
🚫 AI experience limited to conversational tools or internal automation
🚫 Candidates who need a defined roadmap handed to them
🚫 English below B2
🚫 Requires daily management to stay productive
