Overview
At Lupa, we're hiring a NetSuite Developer to bring a critical technical capability in-house for a fast-growing, fully remote consumer snacks company selling into major U.S. retailers.
Today, all NetSuite work runs through an external freelancer — from EDI integrations to warehouse automation. That setup is expensive, hard to plan around, and leaves no internal knowledge once a project wraps. This role changes that. You'll own NetSuite development full-time, working directly with a lean, English-speaking team and tackling a growing backlog of automation opportunities across order management, logistics, inventory, and partner integrations.
This is a hands-on builder role, not an administrator role. If you love going into the NetSuite backend and building systems that make a real business impact — and you want the autonomy to own projects end-to-end — this is a great fit.
Employment type: Full-time, one-year initial contract
Location: Argentina preferred
Language: English B2+ required (the team communicates in English with the US-based CEO and CFO)
Reports to: CFO, working closely with Finance and Operations
What You'll Do
Build, debug, and maintain custom SuiteScript 2.x solutions (workflows, user events, scheduled scripts, RESTlets) without supervision
Lead integrations end-to-end, from requirements through go-live, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors
Expand EDI integrations (X12 standards, TrueCommerce, Celigo) across major retail and distribution partners including UNFI, McLane, Core-Mark, Faire, Dot Foods, Vistar, and Casey's
Build a Flexport-to-NetSuite integration to automate inbound shipment visibility and documentation
Build a C.H. Robinson-to-NetSuite integration to automate domestic freight booking
Replace manual spreadsheet order trackers with a live, NetSuite-powered solution
Configure lot code, FEFO, and inventory rotation logic directly in NetSuite
Drive ongoing work to make NetSuite the single source of truth across orders, inventory, shipments, and financials
Participate in requirements definition and own project outcomes — designing and building systems, not running day-to-day transactions
Who You Are
Must-haves
Strong SuiteScript 2.x skills — able to write, debug, and maintain custom scripts independently
Deep NetSuite configuration expertise: Sales Orders, Fulfillments, Invoices, Items, field mapping, saved searches, workflows
EDI integration experience, including X12 document standards (850, 855, 856, 810) and how they map to ERP objects
Integration platform experience: Celigo or equivalent iPaaS (Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato)
API connectivity: RESTful APIs, webhook setup, OAuth
Project ownership — able to run a project from requirements through go-live and communicate status proactively
English at a B2+ level for daily collaboration with U.S. leadership
Nice-to-haves
TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, and/or Celigo hands-on experience
3PL/WMS integration experience (Unis, Körber, Manhattan)
Flexport API or freight platform integration experience
C.H. Robinson integration or equivalent freight broker API experience
CPG, food & beverage, or consumer goods industry background
AI/automation tooling experience (Make, Zapier, or custom AI workflows layered on NetSuite data)
Mindset & Working Style
Cross-functional — comfortable working with ops, finance, sales, and supply chain, not just IT
Root-cause oriented — you build systems that prevent problems, not just tools that report them
Ownership mindset — you see a gap and propose a fix rather than waiting to be told
Clear communicator — you can explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders without jargon
What's In It For You
Real ownership: You'll be the internal NetSuite expert, not one voice among many — your work directly shapes how the business runs.
High-impact projects: A meaningful backlog of automation and integration work that connects directly to business outcomes.
Remote-first, modern culture: A fast-paced, innovative environment that values AI-forward, automation-minded thinking.
Direct exposure to leadership: You'll work closely with the CFO and collaborate across finance, operations, sales, and supply chain.
Compensation: Competitive monthly compensation benchmarked to senior NetSuite development talent in the region.
Growth: Opportunity to grow with a scaling company and expand the internal systems function over time.
